On November 20, 2015, Monterrey Security's President and Founder, Juan Gaytan, Jr.  attended the Chicago City Council Latino Caucus Foundation inaugural fund raiser.  The foundation seeks to raise $500,000 in scholarship funds for Latino high school students.  In keeping with Monterrey Security's desire to be part of the communities in which they work, Juan Gaytan once again found a way to do just that.  Moved that evening by Asael Reyes' story as an undocumented college student that is unable to continue his college education because of his $13,000 college debt, Gaytan agreed to pay-off Asael's outstanding tuition bill.  There are countless stories like the personal story shared by Asael that evening and it is stories like this that motivate Monterrey Security to continue to partner with business leaders, educators and social service organizations to create careers and economic resources for underserved communities.
